 What Is My Broken Palace?

They get that question a lot...  My Broken Palace is a non-profit organization of passionate people who share one vision: the desire to help teens and young adults in their time of brokenness. Scott Brinson, one of the founders of My Broken Palace, tells me that they connect and care about people ages 15-24 who are struggling with what he calls the "isolation issues."  These issues include some pretty heavy stuff: suicidal thoughts, addictions, depression, bullying, loneliness, anxiety, abuse, cutting & self injury, eating disorders, and more.  Unfortunately for us, these situations have become more and more common in our culture.  It seems like every couple of months, the media blasts us with another almost unbelievable tragedy like Phoebe Prince, South Hadley High School’s “new girl” driven to suicide by teenage cyber bullies.

An Endless Splatter Summer: Everyone's a Winner

Splatter gives you a free shirt, 15 songs, ebooks, and more. You and 14,999 other are gathered in front of the main stage. It's 7 pm. You just finished a plate of Pad Thai from that vendor in the food court booths. It's been a full day, a FUN day, that started with the worship service in the morning. You hit the games area for a round of sumo wrestling and a few back flips onto the Velcro wall.  You've been all over the grounds all day long catching bands at various stages with multiple trips to the exhibit tent to cool off, get signatures on band shirts and hang with other fans.
